Just curious what your thankful for as we get closer to thanksgiving. I'll start. I'm thankful I've made such a dramatic recovery, and can now walk on my own again. I'm thankful that after my sister spent a year in ICU, she is now fully recovered and no longer needs dialisis. I'm thankful I have a family that cares so much about me, and has helped me through my difficult battle with RSD. So now its your turn. Come on were talking easy points here.

Wow so far all the answers are soo touching. Please keep the honest answers coming. Oh and thankyou, I truly do feel blessed, surely any teenager whose going through what I've gone through, having to learn how to walk again, must have some purpose. God doesnt have us go through these trials for nothing, right?

I am thankful for my baby sister (15), she is the only person that can melt my heart the way she does. She is such a great reason to be a good role model. I am thankful that I graduate this year.

I am thankful that my nephew & his family were able to come up from Florida for Thanksgiving. I am thankful that even though it was the hardest thing I ever had to do...I held my father's hand and prayed for him as he died last Spring. My thankfulness comes along the same lines as yours, I am thankful that I made it thru my heart problem and didnt die in surgery. I am thankful for all of my doctors who kept me alive, I am also thankful for the oncologist and the urologist that removed and care for my kidney cancer. I am thankful that I am doing well now and have no signs of recurrence of the cancer at this point. I am thankful for my beautiful wife and children who mean everything to me. I am thankful for my wonderful family and friends who love me and help me thru the tough times. I could go on for hours. I am not an extremely religious person, but i am also very thankful for gods mercy and grace on me, he could have taken me several times in the last couple of years, but he knew i wasnt finished on earth. Thanks for asking this question, it made me feel pretty good just remembering that life is precious, and sometimes we look at things from the wrong perspective. I could be looking at this stuff as how bad it was and how it sucks to be 34 years old and have all these health problems, but i know these things have happened for a reason.
