do they get to go out at weekends eg clubbing and could someone tell me if you have ever been in the army what goes on just interested when your with the lads is it always talking about girls thanks x

I think the infantry is strictly business. He may get an access to a computer.

The infantry is very team oriented so your bf will find hes expected to join in on social occasion's. It is a very important part of Army life. If he ever has to go into a bad situation he has to trust his mates and socialising together builds a strong team. However I guess your worried about whether he will play around. I have known some guys to cheat and others to be really loyal to their lady. In the end it comes down to what sort of person he is. IF your worried talk to him quietly and calmly. If you have trusted him in the past don't stop trusting him. I have seen a girlfriends mistrust wrongly blow a relationship apart.

LOL...I haven't been in the military but I have guy friends that are and my grandfather and my step were also in the military.
So here's the dilly-o they don't go out on weekends unless if they are on some sort of leave....if they are in active duty like in the field u can guarantee they aren't partying. but if they are at the base then yeah they are partying and talking about girls and most likely have sex with girls. But u shouldn't get made about that...these guys are put in a life and death situation everyday...the next day could be there last....so when they go out hootin' and hollain' it up it's a way to releave the unbelieve stress of being put into that sort of situation.
Not every guy goes out and parties but a large majority do. Try not to judge him and show him support and love...that's what our boys need right now. Also, tell him if he going to do that to at least be safe about it and wear condom.

I was in the Navy and we got to go out. There is a bit of scandel goes on but I knew some people who had been married or with someone for years and would never dream of cheating on their partners. If you trust him whats the point in thinking about it. You will end up convincing yourself hes up to no good and turn into the green eyed monster!

Oh yeah, they get to go out,(unless they're on ops that prohibit it).
Really what you're worried about is the hangers on that appear in garrison towns am I right?
Truth is, there are available women in all walks of life and whether your boyfriend behaves or not will be down to how much he cares about you-that's not down to army life bab, that's down to him.
Why not travel down/up and join him when possible? It's a good laugh out with the boys and it'll put names to faces for you too(and make you feel better cos you've been there).
There's no guarantees with any relationship-and long distances never make it easy-for either of you.

would you trust him if he was going out at the week-ends if he was working in his home town?
every guy/girl talks about sex wether there in the army or working on a hotdog stall at the end of the road, dont let other people wind you up, bet there just jealous that there man works in a boring factory etc.

Yup they go out....it just depends on the guy to make the right choices if he's married or in a serious realationship.also is he in iraq yet....my husband was also infantry' striker brigade" he is now disabled cause of his injury durning combat....good luck ...

well when I was in yes we got passes on weekends most of the time and I hit the bars and they are a lot of women that frequent those bars as well so be ware
