A simple blood test or urine analysis will determine the level of vicodin in the body and if the product is being used as directed. This is a dangerous drug and I would not recommend exceeding the recommend dosage, you may also develop a dependency to it.

It's not a vicodin test, its a blood test for substance abuse, and yes it can tell your doctor if you're abusing. You could also be damaging your liver, which will also show up on your blood test. Cut it out.

A blood test will only determine that your taking the drug,
not how much your taking.

i currently take a different pain medication and am tested regularly....i have told my doctor that i do not take it as prescribed but as often as i need it....whether it be more or less in one day.
You should be as honest with your doctor as possible....it will only help in the long run!!!!

I guess that would be determined by the amount of the drug in your system.
