I really think you should see a doctor for this but in the meantime, you could try this recipe:
Cut a whole lemon into slices, put them in a teapot and pour freshly boiled water in it. Let the lemon slices "brew" for a few minutes as if you are making tea. Pour some into a mug and add some salt to it (enough to taste quite salty but not so salty that you can't drink it). Hopefully this will sooth your throat a little bit before your appointment with the doctor (yes, you must see him/her if you want to get well!)

It sounds like you have an infection, in which case you're going to need anti-biotics whether you like the idea or not! Otherwise it will just get worse ... if your last anti-biotics disagreed with you, your doctor should know this and will hopefully prescribe something different for you. Get to the doctor!

sounds like strept throat. Go to the doctor and tell them what happened when you were on anti biotics in the past and they can probably prescribe something different

If you have spots on your tonsils then you will need to get antibiotics or you could need an emergency tonsilectamy.

Sound like sinus drainage to me. Take an allergy med. like Sudifed, morning and night. I bet it will make a difference. My throat will hurt and I will have lots of trouble swallowing if I don't take allergy pills.

Sounds like strep to me. You need an antibiotic. If you're determined not to go to the doctor, drink a lot of liquids down really fast to keep your throat open.
I don't want to scare you too much, but if its strep and it abscesses, it could block your airway and kill you. You need to see a doctor.

Try an anaesthetic throat spray or gargling with a soluble pain killer - good luck.
