Neither. Although it is possible to splice many diffent seeds and actually get a breed to sprout and possibly even bear fruit, the nature of the banana seed is such that when one attmepts to make that particular splice, the nourishment needs of the apple outweigh and eclipse the banana.

Although if you spliced enough seeds onto an apple seed you would get an entirely new breed of fruit called a banple. (pronounced ban-plEE). The banple has been successfuylly grown in southern climates but unfortunately tastes very bitter. The banple is used as organic feed for Kangaroos (export from south America) and for cattle in Brazil.

The CBP (council for Banple Production) in South America is finding it is very difficult to recruit banana seed splicers as the work is very tedious and does not pay well. So they expect production of the banple to end by early 2008.

At that time they are going to start splicing kiwi and banand seed to make kiana'. They make a great addition to cakes and pastries and taste wonderful.

The beauty of the Kiana, is the splicing is almost effortless as all you have to do is put the fruit to gether with some water and form a paste and the paste is dried and planted.

It depends. If the daddy is an apple, it would be an appana. If the daddy is a banana, it would be a banapple. Dog breed logic. Just a little humor folks!

I like banapple. Walmart used to seel Grapples, a cross between grapes and apples. They were expensive, but yummy. I'm not sure if they still have them. I don't like apples, so to find an apple that tasted like grapes was magnificant.
