I believe in fate and i believe that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we cannot see why it has happened or for what purpose straight away but maybe some years down the line we can look back and realise why it happened and how it helped. However, there are some things that happen in the world that i do not understand and when i think about it i feel sad but i have to trust that it is fate and accept it. We can change our fate by the choices that we make and sometimes we do make the wrong decision but we are able to learn and grow from our mistakes so maybe that was the path that we were supposed to take.

"What ever will be will be, the futures not ours to see."

I do believe in cause and effect. When the entire of reality is a result of physical matter acting and interacting in entirely predictable ways, the notion of inalterable future is unavoidable.

On the other hand, I do believe I can choose. The reason for this is that I, as a result of such predictable events, am an architect of the events that come out of my own self. Since this kind of fate occurs internally, the abstraction of "Me" is such that a decision I make is still a choice, whether or not I was ever completely free to make anything else.

There are lots of things that are beyond our control. One born in a relatively poor, middle class or wealthy family has the privilege of living a comfortable life, chance of good education and acceptance of the society, where, a child that was born and raised in Getto would never have the same comfort and opportunities. Do you think they were born by choice? No, it was their fate.

The decisions you make in the present shape your future... there is no fate. If fate is real then free will is simply an illusion.

Sometimes it just seems like fate, but I don't really believe it. It's more like things just happen 'cos they do! Hmmm.

Fate is an illusion. We are all given free will by God. He gives this free will out of love, and free will is necessary in order to truly love Him back. Our free will is precious to God.

Our choices have effects on others. Bad things happen because bad choices are allowed to have their consequences, on whomever they may affect. You are responsible for your own choices. We are all "pre-destined" to heaven, in a sense, but it's up to you if you end up there or not.

I think you are in control of your own destiny. I think free-will supersedes fate.
