Fibre can lead to bad smelling flatulence. The baked beans will not help. While brown bread is very important i feel that perhaps you are not eating a balanced diet on a regular basis. Do you drink alcohol as this can also do this. Try for 2 weeks ensuring you eat your 5 portiopns of fruit/veg, drink 2 litres of water a day, eat red meat only twice a week max. (rest white meat/fish) and cut out the baked beans and see if this improves. Thank gradually re-introduce some of these foods til you find your trigger ones. Good luck!

Beans cause some nasty flatulence. There is a product you can get in the drug store Bean-o. You take a tablet half an hour before eating beans or other gas producing foods (cabbage family, broccoli, cauliflower). It is a natural enzyme that helps you digest the beans. Check your bread to see if there is psyllium in there. That is a huge gas producer.

Carbohydrates, fruits, and veggies give you a lot of flatulence but it usually doesnt smell as much. Meats and milk give you less flatulence but it usually has more of an odor. Beans and some veggies are known for giving you more of an odorous flatulence. I would advise cutting down on the baked beans because these are probably what are causing the odor.

Keep off the baked beans! Have plenty of fruit and vegetables but careful with artichokes (the ones that look like potatoes) and too much onion and garlic. Eggs can be a problem for some as well.
Having said all that, taking garlic capsules that are DEODORISED can help with the pong!!!

That's your problem right there, you don't get enough actual nutrients in your diet.

Eat healhier, bring in soups into your diet and milk and cereal. Eating just the foods you mentioned are bad for your health and yes, will create foul smelling gas. Eat different assortments of food.
