It couldn't hurt. The only time that I would say that a dog would be too old to neuter is if he wouldn't be a good surgery candidate (the risk of having him put under would be too great).
Neutering him will cause his hormone levels to fall and might help with some agression issues, but don't think it's going to be a cure all. You don't go into great detail about what his anger issues are but I would assume he might still benefit from being neutered and then maybe some additional obedience training.

No, it is never too late to have your dog neutered. It may or may not affect his overly aggressive behavior. You may want to read about the breed to determine if some characteristics are just "Schnauzer" because you don't really describe what you see as being "anger issues". A dog trainer should be able to help. I think it is a good idea to neuter your dog if you don't intend to breed him.

Its never too late to neuter and four years old is still pretty young for a mini schnauzer. Neutering may help to calm him down.

It's never too late, unless the critter is truly ancient and has severe health issues. You don't mention that with your dog, so go for it! I think you might find it'll save you both some misery!
Now, I don't know that it will cure the 'anger issues'. Only some intensive training will do that.
Good luck!

No, It may not prevent some behaviors at this age but, it will make sure he doesn't reproduce. Temperament is transferred in the breeding process. He may calm down a bit. It is definitely the right thing to do. Sometimes if a female in heat is close by it will increase his irritability.

Yes, there does come a time when it's too late to do anything where anestesia is involved but i don't think 4 is too old, if you take him to get neutered it may get rid of the anger issues and if not than your doggy just has a bad temperment.

Usually when dogs aren't with other dogs they have more anger. My dog has alway's played with other dogs every day. Dogs need friends just like people and your dog would be a better dog if you went to a group with other dogs. Look up the Dog Whisper and see what he has to say.

Spaying and Neutering: It's Good for Your Pet
Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives.
Spaying and neutering can eliminate or reduce the incidence of a number of health problems that can be very difficult or expensive to treat.
Spaying eliminates the possibility of uterine or ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the incidence of breast cancer, particularly when your pet is spayed before her first estrous cycle.
Neutering eliminates testicular cancer and decreases the incidence of prostate disease.

That could be a really good reason why he has anger issues, and it is not to late to get him neutered.
