Yes you can, I have never taste it, but I heard it tastes good except it may leave you constipated for a few days if you don't drink enough water.

Yes, but by all means, take the prickly skin off first. The fruit is sweet and has a lot of seeds inside, but it makes for a refreshing snack, I like it a little cold. I know them as Tunas, but Spain may call them something different.

Native Israelis are called sabres (cactus plants) cos like the cactus fruit their hard on the outside and soft on the inside ,and for sure you can eat them fruits.......

Yes they are edible and quite delicious. In Spanish they are called tunas in English they are prickly pears. You only need to peel the skin back, and enjoy you eat the seeds and all. I hope you try this treat. I like to eat mine cold from the refrigerator.

Yes they are called prickly pears or tunas in Spanish. They are delicious, full of seeds like a pomegranate. Just peel and eat.

Yes - very nice just be careful of the fine hairs on the skin tho' as they are a b*ugger to get out and can be quite sore!

Yes, I believe they're called prickly pears. I've had them before and they are interesting. You have to be careful when picking and preparing to eat them.
