Non-alcoholic beer is your answer. My husband takes heavy medication for cancer and cannot drink regular beer but he likes the non-alcoholic beer. Beck's is his favorite, with Holsten's next, and he also likes O'Doul's. My daughter drank them if she wanted a beer when she was pregnant. They taste pretty good and are low in calories - double benefit!! :)
PS You can also get non-alcoholic wine.

I think it would taste horrible! I have never tried it, but it wouldn't suggest it. Why don't you buy some NA beer, it tastes pretty good. My friend drank that occasionally while she was pregnant. It does however have about a half a percent of alcohol in it. I guess if you are craving a beer that badly I would suggest that instead of cooking it. How would you actually know if the alcohol was all out? Go for the NA, then you won't need to worry!

Yes, it will taste nasty if you cooked the alcohol off of your beer.
Your best bet is to just get non-alcoholic beer. It will actually TASTE like beer. When you heat up regular beer, it destroys all the delicate oils and compounds that make up the actual flavor of beer. Not what you're after.
Non-alcoholic beer actually uses a vacuum method to remove the alcohol without significantly heating the beer so that the flavors aren't killed by heat.

This may sound weird, but I craved beer when I was pregnant with one of my kids too. I asked my doctor and he said that it was okay to have some, a small glass, the hops or wheat or whatever it is is what you are craving. I know that some medical people have recomended beer when you are nursing, it helps with the milk production. I have always listened to what my body is saying, but just to be sure, call you doctor and see what they say. That is part of why you have a doctor. I had a vegetarian friend who craved red meat when she was pregnant and she ate it after going years without. Just don't go on a binge! And to give your baby FAS there has to be ALOT of alcohol for most of the pregnancy. A little should be okay. GOOD LUCK

Ya know, people get all high and mighty about drinking while preggers, and I just don't get it. Women have been getting pregnant for thousands of years and how many of them had a little to drink every now and again? Come on babe, don't be dumb, if you are craving a brewski, have ONE, it won't hurt the baby. Do you really think a little beer is going be worse for the baby than all the crap that is in the food you eat and the polluted air you breathe, I think not!

Better off having an Odouls or other type of non-alcoholic beer. Have you ever tasted beer that has been boiled - now might not be the time.

I don't know if it would affect you adversly, but they do make alcoholic free beer. There is Odouls and one made by AB that's called NA. They can be hard to find sometimes(not much demand for beer without the drunk), but they might just hit the spot and be alot less work.

It will taste nasty if you put it back in the bottle. Why don't you just cook chicken in the beer broth?

if you had a few sips i don't think much will happen to the baby. drinking 2 + beers more than just on one night.....that will definitely not be good.
PS. Non alcohlic beer DOES have SOME alcohol in it.... it's just not enough to technically call it "Alcoholic" oyu can try O'Douls or Kaliber
