Beeswax works, but I don't like the texture it creates. I prefer to use leave in conditoner (try Nexxus' Leave in Conditoner) and a hair gel (without alcohol...very important!!!), and a little melted shea butter mixed together on my mother's hair. She start growing her locs in 2002 and now her hair is healthy and to her bra strap. It took about 7 months to lock.

try utilising honey and lemon juice as a gel at the same time as u retwist them. i have had mine for 2 months and that is what my godmother makes use of at the same time as she does them. that's what she used in hers and hers locked in 3 months. Mine are locking everywhere except for the roots yet I have very wonderful tender hair so mine ought to take a touch longer. blend the honey and lemon juice up jointly. now to not skinny yet dnt make it to thick. it really is going to b about the consistency of blood.possibly only a tad bit thicker. Lol this the purely social gathering i ought to imagine of. also dry ur hair less than a dryer after ward for an hour so the honey can keep the dreads jointly. If u nevertheless experience ur hair is a touch moist stay less than or keep drying till its dry. It sounds extraordinary to apply yet its organic and could likely paintings extra valuable than any product. also use rasta locks n twist shampoo and conditioner. Gonna b more durable for em to fasten with oily hair. basically ascertain there locked adequate to were they would not slip. good success
