We have a shallow well. We found the UV system to suit for us. Initial installation cost about $600 and upkeep is minimal and our water tests safe every time. It is not as expensive as R.O. I am not sure about the cost or suitability of the ozone systems.

Uv is very good but a much better bargain is carbonated water. I lived in Ecuador 12 years and they had a naturally carbonated water. Stay away from caffeine and sugar they make u thirsty.
