I'm a really big fan of the Nikon Cool Pics! It's easy to operate, smal and compact, and produces great pictures. Its also very durrable, I don't use a case and it just stays in the bottom of my purse, and I've never had a problem. It also uses just standard AA batteries instead of those expensive hard to find camera batteries.

canon is deffinately the best camera producer. there several versions of the canon powershot. one of them will be right for you. they use 'aa' bateries. i have a powershot s2. it has a great 10 times zoom. dont be afraid because they dont have as many pixels, they have great leanses and proccesors that give them better quality than say, 6 mega-pixels on most cameras. they are a good value, too.

I personally like the Kodak series. They are so easy to use and have all kinds of cool stuff (like printer docs, and sharing software) that you can get to easily share and edit you're pics.they have all sorts of cameras too , from you're basic beginner digital to a more advanced product for serious digital imaging.Prices are good , and you can find them at most major retailers!!

hello, I personally like my Nikon D50. It is not much more then a cannon and in my opinion produces better quality pictures. I like Nikon as a company also, they have good customer service. The D50 also was just lowered in price. I don't know the price but go to Nikon's website and it will tell you.

I love my NIKON D200 It's a DSLR and it rocks!!
I have friends that use "C" word equipment and paid dearly for them but my images blow theirs away and my Nikon equipment cost less. Reviews are here .... http://www.dpreview.com/ also check http://www.nikonians.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi
