Coming from someone with 6 pairs of earrings in her ears and previous infections: Use rubbing alcohol and peroxide. I don't care what any of these looney people tell you about them making the infection worse, because THEY WORKED ON ME! The only reason people will tell you they don't work is because they're an irritant. But then again...aren't all sterilizers and cleansers and irritant? They sting because they're cleaning and because they're on an open wound, people! It's not J&J's Tear Free Baby Shampoo!
Also try silver or gold earrings. The cheap ones you get in Claires will give you infections and make the infections worse if you have any.
Do not play with your earrings. I have a big problem with doing this and then I regret it later on. And always make sure your hands are clean if you'll be dealing with them.
When you get your catilage pierced you are supposed to wait 3-6 months for the healing process. Taking your earrings in and out will promote an infection, so if you need to clean them, do it once a week or once every two weeks to take them out. Or you can dip your ears in a small bath of warm water and sea salt. Or just a hot bath all together to let them soak.
As for your job, explain to your boss about the infections and you need them in your ear. Or you can keep some medicated cream on them all day while you're at work, come home to soak your ears in salt water, or get a hot bath so they open back up and put the sterilized earrings back in.

If you did not go to a professional piercer to have them done, you should go to one and have them switch out the crap studs with proper jewelry. Cheap jewelry will slow healing and increase risk for infections...make sure what you have is high quality gold (14k or better), titanium or surgical grade stainless steel.
Often, the solution they give you is really just a saline solution and that alone will not help. Its very diluted and doesn't work that well for most people. You need to use mild amounts of liquid gold Dial soap and warm water twice daily to clean the area. Use a q-tip to remove any crust form the piercing (but never pick at the crust with your fingers or while the crust is hard). You should also use sea salt soaks (about 1 teaspoon of sea salt mixed in with warm purified water, the solution should taste like tears) for 10-15 minutes a few times a day. If your ears start to get dry skin or itchy, clean them less.
Avoid: bactine (not meant for puncture wounds), alcohol (it has no real disinfecting qualities), peroxide (kills all bacteria and germs but also gets rid of necessary skin and cells for healing), neosporin and other various harsh cleaners as they irritate the skin and slow healing.
DO NOT: touch piercings with dirty hands, do not play with the piercings, do not remove the jewelry for at least 8-12 weeks.
If at any time you are concerned, see a professional piercer. They should be able to help you better if the see the area and know what you are doing.
EDIT: To what you added, just get better quality jewelry, and make sure the holes aren't too close together either. My other guess is the constant removal and replacing of the jewelry will also irritate your ears. Clean your earrings well before you put them in, and clean your ears after they are in. It should minimize problems for you.

If you are getting a lot of infections, you may be having a reaction to the earring posts, so you might want to find earrings with nonallergenic posts. Places like Claire's and Icing carry those types of earrings, they are a little more costly, but it will resolve your problem. Another thing you might want to try is putting a little bit of neosporine on your holes or on the posts before you put the earrings in.
A lot of times when our ears are newly pierced, they become infected because the body thinks it's a foreign object and it is trying to reject it

I had a matching issue as quickly as I have been given 2d holes pierced (at 18, no much less). i don't think of taking them out at evening or for cleansing is the respond-- the holes could desire to heel. yet I agree it feels like a reaction to the steel. have you ever tried surgical steel? additionally, are they yellow gold or white gold? some human beings have a reaction to the white yet are pleased with the yellow gold. If not something works, perchance attempt getting her some sparkly clip ons and spot if which will appease her. stable success-- those infections extremely harm!

I Think you should use alcohol it works better than that water solution they give you when you get your ears pierced. but if you keep getting infected after 1 month and it gets pus then you have to get them done again.!!!

you should really invest in sensitive type metals for your earrings
your ears must be irritated from the gold or cheap earrings.
I only have platinum or white gold in all my jewelry pieces
good luck:)
