Dope is not a pain reliever. It is a stimulant.
Aspirin causes pain relief by reducing nerve stimulation on a small, local level (local meaning at the cellular level). 1000 mg/day of aspirin may cause gastrointestinal symptoms (that's 15x the normal dose, every day).
THC (the reason Dope is used) affects the areas of the brain that influence pleasure, memory, thought, concentration, sensory and time perception, and coordinated movement. So while it dulls pain, it affects memory, thoughts, senses, and coordination in a very negative way. Away from the brain, dope increases the chances of heart-attack by 4x in the first 4 hours after hitting a joint. 450 people studied found that those who abuse marijuana but not tobacco miss more work and have more health problems than smokers (who have significantly more health problems than nonsmokers). Dope triples the risk of lung cancer over tobacco smoking because there are 50-70% more carcinogenic hydrocarbons present in dope smokers than in tobacco smokers. These hydrocarbons lead to creation of malignant cells (cancerous growths).
THC impairs the immune system, leaving dopers open to increased instances of common illnesses, as well as STDs. Dopers are more likely to experience Depression, anxiety, and paranoia. They have memory problems, and severe concentration problems that last for weeks after the last exposure (or hit for any dopers out there reading this, but you probably have stopped reading already because a shiny object distracted you).
So in review: Aspirin good unless mega-dosed. Marijuana bad. So if God intented you to use dope instead of aspirin, I don't think he really likes you much.

All these drugs we use without thinking, like aspirin, come from some kind of plant or substance. They're just regulated by FDA or somebody in authority. I see nothing wrong with using the helpful medicinal properties of marijuana to help people so long as they're under a doc's care. This plant has helped some cancer victims deal with the nausea from chemo. God don't care if we use it like this. What He does care about is abuse, which is what a lot of us did in the 60's. We toked til we choked and were barely functional. That ain't right!

Hey who knows?? All I know is that marijuana is a plant that was put here on earth by God. So to me, it should be as natural as growing and using herbs like majoram, rosemary, etc... And it has been proven to be beneficial in alot of medical uses, such as giving it to chemo patients, to increase their appetite, glaucoma patients, patients who are in constant pain for one reason or another.
And, no, I do not agree that it is okay then for Heroin and Cocaine use... There is no good reason for using drugs like that... Marijuana is NOT a mind altering drug in the sense that they are..and it DOESN"T cause hallucinations..not unless something else is added to it. I know someone that has been doing it for decades and still leads a completely normal life...smart, great job, etc.. In fact, the one and only drawback that I can see to it is that you smoke it same as cigarettes,,,and we all know how good those are for you...

God made all the plants of the earth for our use but not to mis-use as is the case for marijuana.

It should only be used in extreme cases and then regulated by a physican. I do think it is safer than many of the man-made pills on the market.

I don't agree with marijuana because it kills your brain cells, and could make you mentally ill, like what has happened to me. It makes you hallucinate ghosts and spirits that are not there. This is one of the affects of marijuana use when it makes you ill after using it for some time.

a pain killing drug is a pain killing drug .....I don't see why there would be any difference which one is used as long as it is actually being used to help pain for valid medical reasons such as chemotherapy or glaucoma or other serious reasons

Oh, sure why not. He thinks heroine is cool for when you're in a really bad mood, and cocaine should be used if you're tired too. Why the hell not?
