She doesnt want to go to a counselor. and ive tried talking to her but i dont know what to say to her. she has tried to kill herself before but she failed,. obviously since im posting this. When she was at my house, i went through her purse when she wasnt around and i found all differents kinds of pills, razorblades and stuff like that.

I would call crisis intervention if there is a listing around your area. If not, look up suicide hotlines and ask for advice. I hope your friend is okay at this moment. The best thing you can do for her is to be there.

Tell everyone you possibly can who is involved in this girls' life that she is suicidal. Isolation only makes you feel like you won't be leaving behind anyone who cares. Intervention Intervention. Take her to emerg to talk to someone if you can. There are people there who can talk with her and help her. There are many crisis and distress lines as well that she can call. Make available to her all those numbers. Most of all keep being a good friend. In cases like this though sometimes you have to betray the friend by breaking their secret out in to the open. I will save her life and your friendship will recover.

i don't think you can do anything alone.
try telling her that she's not just hurting herself but everyone else as well....like you especially. someone said that to me and i felt really guilty so i got myself sorted out (with some help). she can do it too. reasure her and get her sorted out.
if that doesnt work then go tell someone. try her family and if they really dont care call the police or anyone which will help her and get her sorted out. she may hate you for a while but in the end she'll understand why you did it. DO NOT FEEL GUILTY! you're doing the right thing.

Has she TOLD you that she is suicidal? Then you have to call 911 immediately....no matter how mad you think she'll be with you. You have to do it. They'll take her to the hospital, she'll be safe and they will put her on a 72 hold (at least) so she can get some help. THAT'S a true friend.

problem is, it sounds like you came too late in the game.
solicit the help of a local emergency room, or community social worker to get on her case immediately!
a good thing to tell her is that she can always die later... but for now, she can at least try to work things out...

She needs to be taken to a mental hospital to spend a few days to adjust her meds, etc.

What about her family? Does she have anyone else close to her that you can talk to? You need more help than you can provide by yourself.

Go to the Fire Dept and tell them . They can help her as I did that with someone. Tell the Fire Dept everything you know.
