We are the result of cosmic events that have too many variables to define. Our formulas for defining the universe are but a small fraction of what exists. But, it is fun...

You hit it right. Everything that is today happened by accident. Since the probability of that kind of an accident happening are beyond statistical boundaries, a religion should be formed around this very idea!
I like to call it the "always" theory. There was always something, there had to be right? Or else, what else was there. Discounting the always theory is a scientists downfall. How could things get started several million years ago when they were around always. After all, the universe is expanding at an astounding rate caused by that big boom when all those chemicals and dust and crap came together. The chance of that happening is also beyond statistical boundaries.
Guess what? If there is a dog turd on my lawn I am guessing a dog is around somewhere. So, the universe is here and I am asking you where is the Creator? This is where everyone's alternate theories break down because there are too many anomalies to deal with.
There are infininite universes? How can they fit when this one is mathematically computed to infinity? Or perhaps the infinity is just a thought inside the mind of a genius who is thinking about all of the impossible but real things about our existence. Hey, Donald Sutherland discussed it in "Animal House" there could be a universe on your fingernail. And all that stuff that happened in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" happened inside a snowflake on someone's sleeve.
Why do mathematicians try to use mathematics to verify impossible equations that have no logical answer? This is why Copernicus was ostracized in his time.

To answer, simple: evolution. Creationism and Intelligent Design have no argument other than "God did it". The vast majority of creationists spend their time trying to disprove or discredit evolution rather than building a scientific case for their beliefs. "First I want to say this: that even most scientists will admit "that evolution is a theory, not a fact. Why? because it has not been proven." Actually, evolution itself is an confirmed, observable fact. The theory aspect of it is how it operated. "The Second Law of Thermodynamics/The Law of Entropy states that everything tends toward disorder. This is a law that Scientists discovered and know to be true." Yes, that holds in a closed system. The Earth is not a closed system, and it has an huge external power generator. "Also, if evolution is true, where did the first cell come from? Not to mention, the earth, the sun, our entire solar system, the Milky Way Galexy, and the universe as a whole. I somehow doubt that the big bang could create all of that by chance. And even if it did, what/who caused the big bang? These are all questions that evolutionist scientists can't answer. I find these questions to be to big for me to believe these scientists. There are, however, Scientists that believe in ID and they can answer all of these questions." The theory of evolution does not make statements of either the origins of life or the origin of the universe. Those would abiogenesis and the Big Bang theory. "I honestly believe that it takes more faith to believe in evolution than intelligent design." No it doesn't. The evidence for evolution is well documented around the world. You only need to look it up. The "evidence" for Creationism is the Bible and appeal to emotion argument of "look around you, it's evident". "People say that the similarities in different animals are reason to believe in evolution. But if their was an intelligent designer of the world, it would make sense that they would use some of the same types of designs in different animals." Irrelevant "If you look at how buildings and bridges are made, they both have similar things in them. They often are both made with triangles. Why? because they help strengthen the structure. They also both use similar metals and other materials because they work well. Why would an intelligent designer not use the same principle when creating all the different animals in the world?" Why do humans have a vestigial organ that pretty much gets infected and can kill you? Why do our eyes have a blind spot on them due to our blood veins being backwards, when squids have perfect vision? Why do we have little toes? Why are some human babies born without faces? (Treacher Collins Syndrome) Why are some human babies born with tail bones? Why do whales have small leg bones?

ok, i believe you are asking whether matter AND life were formed as a conscious endeavor, or whether life and matter exist in an infinite parameter... i would say both are possible, in the sense that within each infinite universe (by default encompassing time and space) there would exist the probability of various constant forces, created exigent of intra-universal parameters, that could be harnessed consciously to propogate life. The formation of matter does not necessarily imply the existence of life within a universe. That's where you want to make a clear distinction when posing this question

The universe isn't that well tuned. Large parts of the earth are barren wastelands and deserts, most species that have existed (99%) have gone extinct-there was no intelligent designer. In a universe with millions of planets the odds are actually in favour of some of them being able to support life. No miracles-no God.

The foundation of the theory of evolution can not be proven or ignored. It has been in our society for about 150 years. With in the recent 60 years we as a society have accepted the theory of evolution as a science rather than a philosophy. Although many push it in our school systems and universities, we still have a chance to fight the ongoing trends it has produced. Evolution is a religion.
The evolutionists have numerous forgeries to confuse and outright deny any concept of there ever being a Genesis to the founding of the universe. One major argument against evolution is the scientific discoveries that give much credibility to the bible’s documentation of Noah’s flood. Scientists have said that the earth’s atmosphere would have had to have a lot of water for there to be rain for 40 days and 40 nights but there was:
Genesis 1:5-7 (King James Version)
5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
According to the bible’s affirmed statement there was a layer of water and/or ice that covered the atmosphere. This would cause a greenhouse effect of the earth’s ecosystem and mist to rise from the ground allowing the earth to have ripe abundance of food and necessities for all living things.
There are three laws of thermodynamics that debunk evolution in its entirety. Nothing in the universe is able to combat its effects or escape from it. The scientific regulations of thermodynamics state:
Matter is not created or destroyed; it is only transferred or transformed. Energy is never lost; the energy available for work output will never be as great as the energy put into a system. All matter in the universe decays into chaos; thus, the universe is dying and will pass away forever someday.
After carefully investigating the ways the world functions, you will find much evidence that evolution does not occur. In fact we are on a collision course with total annihilation.

Well, if there were an intelligent designer, for him/her to exist, some of those laws would have to be in place already. The designer could not have designed him/herself. Thus, the designer could not have designed everything. To "fine tune" anything pertaining to his/her own existence would be to risk imbalance and self-destruction.

"In the beginning, God..." The law of cause and effect demands an uncaused Cause to explain everything that exists. And the complexity and balance of living organisms testifies strongly to a super-intelligent Designer. "The fool has said in his heart there is no God."

you can make anything seem like the truth by stretching it.. i believe in god but i also beleive that some things have evolved over time... not us though we came from god....how could evolution give us emotions and feelings? and how could the cosmos that produced single celled organisims have evolved so much to become these complex multicellular organsims that we are today? its god.
