I'm thankful for my family. I was adopted when i was born, and I have been raised by the most wonderful people who love me so much and provide all kinds of opportunities for me. I have met my birthfamily and it only makes me more thankful because they are very disfunctional.
I know it was only through the hand of some higher power that my birthmom decided to gave me up and made sure i went to the right family,

I guess, that I came into this world, in the best thing I can thank a higher power for.

I think we exist before we get here, but we don't have the chance to progress and develop there.

If we want to do that, we gotta do it here. And all the other beautiful experiences we get to have along the way.

Forget the bad ones.

You mean, all that hard work, those school loans, all those job interviews and everything, and Im supposed to believe that it is all by the grace of God?? Sorry, but the only thing God ever did for me was create me as a sinning failure and then blame me for it. And all that I have is by the grace of my own hard work and intelligence.

Im thankful I dont beleive in a hateful religion that contradicts itself.

I am thankful that I am sober for today. I am thankful that I have a loving family and that I never have to struggle for food or the things that I need. I am thankful that God has given me life and that I have learned not to take it for granted. There are so many things that God has given us that we need to be thankful for over and over again.
