yes all religion is used this way to a degree - as have all religions since we started inventing them- dont get me wrong im not saying religion is a bad thing ? its just surprising that any "gods" message has always been simple no matter what people it was being preached to- but then greedy people have decided that they would change the message - invent rules that would suit their wants, complicate things and instead of freeing and helping people they try to bring them under control!
instead of sending money to the poor or helpless that they need a beautifull modern church or chapel with all the trimmings
Religions are full of good people but they rarely reflect the message that they were started with!

And if you dont beleive me - your all going to burn in the fires of hell

Now ponder why that word was chosen.

Hmmm...

Yes, but it has always been used this way, and until people wake up and see that religion is nothing but lies, deceit and fantasy and used by the rich and powerful to control the rest of us it will continue this way the only way this can be changed is the complete eradication of religion.

I would have to say Muslims are being used that way by the US. They are using fear of terrorism by Muslims as an excuse to exercise unprecedented control over the opinions and actions of the masses.

religion is man made. I have a faith, in Jesus, and I willingly learn his teachings and attempt to honestly apply them to my life with the help of the Holy spirit, and it's not an 'idea', I actually met with Jesus spiritually before I committed my life to him. Nobody controls me, it's my choice.
