Why doesn't the dog breeders stay on puppyfind.com and get off this site?Leave it alone like normal people instead of poisoning this site like they have puppyfind?They are on here and trying to be hateful to people who want advice ,Why can't they play somewhere else??????

It's not just the breeders. Everyone can be nasty at one time or another (some more then others).
I have found myself getting pretty nasty when I feel I need to remind people about shelter dogs, or when someone wants to breed and doesn't have a clue where to start. Everyone has their own opinion. This is a place where opinions, experiences and facts are shared.
Not everyone has the same beliefs. We're only human and it's our nature to defend what we think is right. Some people just have more tact then others.
And some of the breeders, if you can look past any nasty comments, give really good advice. They're here trying to help those who may not have as much experience with dogs.
Don't be so quick to judge.

TO TORBAYNEW: I got both of my dogs on Puppyfind.com. I was looking for a specific dog that most breeders drown when they are 5 weeks old. I found 2 Christian breeders who do not discard a dog because it might "tarnish their reputation". Some would call them "handicapped" dogs because they are deaf but mine are wonderful companions, well behaved and good watchdogs. They know when I get home even if they are sound asleep in another part of the house. These 2 wonderful girls would have been discarded by any other breeder and now they are the joy of my life.

Well, I've seen a few breeders give really good helpful advice. Those that are nasty are just to be ignored as far as I'm concerned. On a site like this, you have to be willing to take the good with the bad. Walk away with what is good and forget the rest.

I'd have to agree that breeders shouldn't be bashing others. I acutally had a breeder, not on here, that was bashing me because she thought I was not good enough to have a dog that she was breeding and selling. It is a unusual breed(Basenji) and according to her, only rich people who want to breed and show Basenjis should have one and not those who want them as pets. Sorry, but the last time I checked, there was no law that a person couldn't get a rare dog that is purebred with papers to have as a pet and not be bred or shown.

If it weren't for the breeders trying to help some of you with your questions, very few would get real answers. I am a breeder and I try to help but, some people don't have a clue. I too have asked questions, I don't profess to know everything but, i sincerely try to help those with legitimate questions. It is the stupid,moronic and mundane questions I will occasionally give a smart *** answer too out of frustration. Don't forget some people are trying to get a rise out of people too... Why don't we all just boycott stupid questions? Then perhaps people will think and research before asking it over and over again.

I got my dog off of puppyfind.com. Are you saying that it is a bad place or something? Because I got the best dog in the world off of that cite.

Just went to puppyfind.com, and if that is the site you are referring to...it is just a BYB/puppy mill site. No REAL breeders there. Real breeders would not sell their puppies to unknown people over the internet!!!
Yeah, I have seen a lot of "christian breeders" on these puppy selling websites!!!!!!! There is one who mass produces Newfies for a "Boys Home". They are all just puppy mills. They see the dollar signs and see the suckers!!!!!!!!
I hope lady with deaf dogs didn't pay for them!! See, good breeders don't discard puppies like that. They place them in good homes usually for free or just the cost of spay/neuter. They don't list them and sell them like used cars over the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not all breeders here are so vile. Some give very good advice, breed-specific or not. Don't let a few bad apples color your opinion of such a diverse group of people.
