In honesty I don't think black would go too well with your complexion, but auburn would look lovely.. :]

I would put streaks of auburn in it first to make sure that you like the color and that way if you don't it's not a huge deal and it's an easier fix than if you dye your whole head auburn. About the black I would suggest doing the same thing possibly but I wouldnt do your whole head black, it's just such a permanent color and you never realize how long it takes to grow your hair out after you dye it a color you regret. What about putting auburn and a really dark brown almost black ( this way it won't look so harsh with your skin tone ) streaks in your hair until you decide which one you would prefer all of your hair to be.

Auburn for sure. It is so much easier to go darker if you want than to lighten it up later. Plus, since your hair is a light blond auburn will seem drastic until you get use to it. Having it dyed black right off will be very hard to get use to. My hair is auburn and was cut like your avatar (I am trying to let it grow out) but it was very easy to take care of and everyone loved it. Good luck!
EDITED: Red does fade very quickly. Yes mine is auburn - auburn out of a box, but Paul Mitchell makes shampoo for people with colored hair. The shampoo is red and adds color to my hair when it is fading and not time to touch it up with more dye. My hair stylist orders it special for me because a lot of salons don't carry it. Ask your stylist, they can order it.

I would start auburn and then go black only because if you hate the black, to strip the color from your hair is really damaging, especially to thinner blonde hair, it will be almost impossible to get out. Maybe go with some low lights, and bring the color closer to brown, because you can always go darker later, but it is harder to go lighter.

I'd say go with the auburn...if you go black, a lot of times it comes out so black it looks blue and that's no good...unless that's ok with you.
Black might also be a hard color to change if you HATED it.

yer i think that with your pale complextion it will really work, my hair is naturally auburn, but don't go for just a flat colour!-get some undertones underneath and some blondish high lights on top! if you are still unsure, then try one of those semi-ppernament kits, they are fantastic for seeing if you suit the colour!
no offense, but i would re-think the black it will bring out your plae complextion, why not ask your hair dresser for a mini consultation before. -it really helps the hair dresser will re create the look so that you can see what i would look like on you! i did this before i went blonde and i hav nenver gone back~!
hope this helps!x

Ok. When you have light complected skin, you don't want to go really dark with the hair color, because then you will look ghostly white. You want to stick to light colors. And you don't want to do a drastic change, because you might not like it when it's done with. If you work your way to getting a darker color over time, one or two shades at a time, you will see how dark you actually like it, and how dark is too dark for your complexion.

it's going to be very tricky with your light blonde hair to go auburn, make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing, you should look very nice with the auburn, myself, i'm not too fussy about the black an you may be to fair for it. whatever you choose, good luck with it.

I don't think u should go that drastic. Unless u really trust the stylist you are going to. I think that you should go strawberry blonde like "i love lucy". That would be so cute. If you are light complexion then you want warm tones. You don't want to go black that might make you look sick. Good luck girl! Bet you gonne look real cute lol! :)

Red is a nice color for your complexion, but maintenance of red hair is really difficult. It fades easily. Also, the shade that you see on the box may not be the shade that you get. I just changed my hair color from red to black for the same reason. I decided to go black for the rest of my life as black is not changeable to any other color unless I bleach. So think about what you really want to do. If you want to go red, you need to understand that it is a high maintenance color. If you want to go black, remember that it is not easy to change it to another color.
