They would sort out the problems that British politicians are too lazy to sort out...

And they would do it for a lot less money too!

Hmm...I wonder if our politicians would be as welcoming of this idea??

Politicians are always saying how immigration is brilliant and they can get their bogs fixed on the cheap by Polish plumbers so I think it would be a good idea.

Politicians would do more if they thought their own self interests were in jeopardy.

I'm surprised that some who calls himself "andylefty" would even think of importing the President and Prime Minister of Poland; both of whom seem to be nationalistic thugs.

Poland has been rife with corruption ever since the overthrow of communism, and whilst the "terrible twins" above have vowed to put Poland first, they have an uphill battle against the ingrained ways of politicians.

Poland is to get very substantial aid from the EU, and if the money is properly spent, there is every possibility that life will get better for the long-suffering Polish people, but that doesn't imply that we have anything to learn from their politicians.

In point of fact, the Prime Minister of Poland has already run foul of European human-rights in his condemnation of the gay community and the attempts by his twin brother to have freedom of expression curtailed by banning a Gay Pride march. The two of them are avowedly staunch catholics with "strong traditional family values," and we all know what that means.....homophobia.

With links to a Polish youth movement, which represents a right-wing set of values and supports a number of fascist skinheads, both the President and the Prime Minister are not without their dangers for the future of Polish democracy and human-rights.

The EU hauled the Prime Ministe of Poland over the coals about his contraventions of human-rights issues.

On that basis, they wouldn't serve much purpose in the UK, no matter how much of a bargain their services may appear.

I don't know..... plumbers are one thing, but............

Only joking. In fact they certainly couldn't do a worse job than the present lot. I wonder how many people on here read "Private Eye".
If only a quarter of what the Eye reports is correct, this country's in a more terrible state than most people realise.

Whatever you think of our politicians, they are ours. We elected them, and we're stuck with them. Until the next election. That's how democracy works.

Poland is stuck with the Terrible Twins, and you can keep 'em.
