Just eat well, drink plenty of fluids, and get bed rest as much as you can. I just got over a cold, I took Nyquil at night and Dayquil in the mornings, it helped me. Vitiman C is great at preventing a cold.

I take about 3 vitamin Cs a day, and also I drink the stuff called Air born. You can get it at the store. Its not just to stop colds before they start, you can also make the cold go away faster.

Wait it out! Stay well hydrated with water and juices and rest. Vitamin C daily and good handwashing will help reduce your chances of getting a cold in the future by boosting your immunity and reducing amount of virus you come in contact with.
