Arab/Muslim Girls only!!!!?

Question

Why can I as a christian man not marry one of you?I think Arab girls are beautiful,and very traditional women,which I find a relief in today's world.

Why does Islam teach tolerance of other religious,yet a Muslim man may marry a Christian wife,but a Christian man may not even look at a Muslim woman?Does this mean our religion is inferior to yours?If so why?

Would you disreguard this rule and marry a Christian man reguardless if you had feelings for him?

I have been in Iraq since March of 05.I happen to find Arab culture interesting,and have even started learning Arabic,as I find the language and writing fascinating.

in our religion, the children are supposed to follow the fathers religion, because he is head of the house. so if a muslim woman were to marry a christian man, there is always a chance the children will turn out christian, and if that happens she could be in danger. also there are ALOTTTT of arab christians in palestine and lebanon, and most of them dont care about marrying outside of the race.

but try reading the quran in english, its a beautiful book and islam is a peaceful religion, dont follow views of the taliban, because if you ask a real muslim, they are ALL going to hell for screwing up the religion.

The Qaran states that a Christian man cannot marry a Muslim women, I believe it says this is because the woman would traditionally have to convert to Christianity and therefore the Muslim faith would lose one of their followers, and that woman's soul would be at risk.

Since you like traditional Arab women and their values, then you are facing a real problem. To solve it you would need to find an open minded family and woman, or convert to Islam.

I am a Christian woman, who is intending to marry a Muslim man, I am converting to Islam, because I have researched it and feel that it is right for me. His family is also traditional and they did not even want him to marry me, even if I convert to Islam.

This is because of traditional values, not religious ones. They were expecting him to marry a woman from his country and have babies. I have other life plans and am not really a traditional woman, but I think that is part of why he loves me. The traditions of a people can be just as much a barrier as the religion.

All is possible in the right circumstance and with God guiding you.

I'll keep it short since you've got 2 really beautiful responses from my sisters, so I'll just state my personal attitude.

I don't think i could be a wife of a Christian man simply because my faith occupies a tremendous space of my life and I'm afraid, since i would not be able to share the biggest and most important thing in my life with my husband - we would end up sitting and having absolutely nothing to say to each other.

And what about children? I would push my beliefs, he would push his - or even worse ... we might agree not to push any beliefs and raise a child who does not fear God at all.

I asked my grandmother about this. She said that if a Muslim girl marrtied a nonmuslim guy, then he might abuse her or not let her practice her religion. It's mostly to protect women from a situation like that.

im sorry i'm not a female Muslim. but i am in a Muslim country and i just wanted to say that they are SO BEAUTIFUL it sucks for us Americans doesnt it? im sorry again for not corresponding to your qualifications but i wish we had females in the U.S. as beautiful as them, oh my what i would do just to have one of them have interest in a american

Muslims can only marry muslims feesabililah. Because your bible has been changed over the years, and the true gospel words, is now in the Quran al kareem. salaam alaikum.
