My husband claims 2 on federal 1 on state and makes 1927.20 every two weeks. I have to fill out papers for ex wanting more child support and can't include overtime because it is always different. They will probably take a percentage anyways, but the forms may determine the percentage and overtime need not be included, i don't think.

Okay, taxes are:

Federal: $176.00
Social Security: $119.49
Medicare: $27.94
Arkansas: $102.98

(For Arkansas, I used "Married, claiming self only" as the filing status, based on your "1 on state" statement.)

Hope that helps!

Are you trying to determine the amount of child support? If you are, this has nothing to do with taxes or what is claimed on the W-4. The amount would depend on the state, and perhaps the county that has jurisdiction over the divorce. It would also depend on the number of children and the ex-wife's income. Overtime must be disclosed to the court. If the amount is not constant, the average amount will probably be used. In short, if you are asking about support, you need to see an attorney and provide information that you shouldn't provide here.

The easiest way for you to find this out is to look at your husband's pay stub. Mine always shows my gross pay, all of the deductions like taxes, health insurance, etc., and then the net pay after deductions.
