I have, and I worked through it with myself and finally got over the fact that it wasn't, couldn't happen.

Many things. First- A change of scene. Go away on a holiday or go visiting your kith and kin in a different location. By the time you come back your mind is lighter and half the hurt is gone. Second- One must learn to understand that in this real world you can not get every thing you want. God ensures you get what you NEED and that too in his own time. So, one must learn to take these situations in its stride and yet lead a normal optimistic life always looking at new opportunities. Third- Always share your worries or problems with a dear friend you confide in. Most of the hurt is gone when you told some one. and so on...

I knew she didn't feel the same about me as i did her, but still I was thinking there might be a chance, it hurt so bad just wondering if there could be something, so I got the guts and asked her out, even though I already knew the answer, I had to hear it from her, when she said she just wanted to be friends it hurt, but I felt much better to have it off my chest instead of wondering what might be.

Well if you can do so w/ out hurting this person let them know about your feelings asap! This type of emotion does"nt happen often in a single lifetime. If you don't tell them it will take what seems like forever to get past the hurt.If you can't tell this person how you feel i.e. ( if they are married or something ) then talk about it with a close friend or professional.Believe me it will ease the pain a little.

I could think of a couple of girls that I wish could have been mine. I would have done anything for them but it was just not meant to be, my heart will always have a special place for them but in the end all I got is heartache and painfull memories that will stay with me untill the day that I pass away.

i am currently in this situation, with someone from another country. Sometimes I physically hurt. The best advice I can give is if you can have this person in your life in anyway you are blessed.

Everything and anything he wanted is what he got. me? walked on, used, and a broken heart.....no, more like a heart on a shelf...he would take it down, dust it off and put it back until he wanted it again. I honestly think that was worse, it's harder to let go when someone does that. So, out of sight=out of mind........I left him!
