Telling lie and untruth to anybody even the enemies is not permitted in Islam ,I think you are mistaken or someone just told you something untruth about Islam.

That fact has been taken out of context. I have read that Prophet Muhammad said that "war is deceiving" or "war is to deceive", which we as normal human beings agree.
If we say truthfully that "we plan to invade your country through the Windsor Valley with 1000 tanks, so beware", isn't that crazy? War is deceiving, and every general knows that they need to lie in war. And Prophet Muhammad was the greatest General.

yes i agree but this is not in the daily life.......it is in the case of wars and about your internal afairs ... if they would be brought in the society it can be bad for u..... And on saying yhis i would like to add this usa attacked on iraq by saying that they have mass distructive weapons but they reached their and attecked it they are know quite..............
