Personally, I think it depends on the reason.
If a person makes a personal choice, not based on religion, other brainwashing, societal or family pressure, then that's great. If you don't want to lose your virginity, that's fine.
If you are still a virgin for some of the wrong reasons, mentioned above, then I think that's just sad. Equally if you can't lose your virginity because no one wants to sleep with you, then that's sad too.
So I guess my judgment of that person is based on why they are a virgin. While 20 may be older than average, it is hardly OLD by any means.

There's some guys out there who just want a girl they can have fun in bed with, but good for you for not going sex crazy like lots of other people. I have been with a few girls, but my gf was 19 and a virgin when I started dating her and things were just fine. If a guy makes a big deal about it...then he's probably with you for the wrong reason anyway.

I was a 20 year old virgin, I dated a guy, he pestered me about it constantly, i gave him what he wanted, once, he gave me an incurable STD then he broke up with me. Six months later I met the man of my dreams, and I had an std, and he loves me anyway, but our lives would be so much simpler if would have waited for him. Dont just give it up, save it for the right person.

I think that is incredibly awesome! Wow, that says alot for somebody that has that much will-power. I lost my virginity at 16 to a guy that turns my stomach now. Guys will appreciate the innocents and feel good about not having you shared by other men.

I am of the opinion that we understand the sacredness and joy of making love only when we are married anything before that makes us guilty and inhibits us from giving ourselves completely..
So a 20 yr old virgin who can wait until her marriage to share it with her husband who will love her and cherish her for what she is forever... sounds wonderful doesnt it?

as-long the 20 y old virgin feels good about it,then it no matter what another ones opinion is..

Hey, I was one. No big deal ESPECIALLY for a girl. My first time was awful, and I got what I deserved. Chose carefully, there is ALOT to be said about waiting until marriage. I wish I had been born into a society that encouraged that, because many problems of compatibility and lack of honesty would have evaporated.

Not a problem. You are in control of your own life, and if you decide to wait until you are ready for sex, well that is great. But I am a girl, so this is probable not the answer you want!
