No. Iran should be far wealthier than it is - but because the government squanders it's wealth then the people are for the most part very poor. Tehran is one of the most polluted cities in the world. Iran's birth rate is out of control, etc etc.
And that's without even thinking about freedom of speech, fair elections and freedom of religion. Iran is a pretty bad country all round, even excluding the fact there are some pretty crazy people in charge.

Irans President is trying to convert it into an Islamic Nation. That of course causes Jews & Christians to be persecuted there. More persecuted.

well I dont think so .As a muslim i can say all the Islamic countries are equally perfect .The fact that Iran is led with a radical Muslim doesnt mean that Iran is the perfect Islamic nation!

Let's see:
1) They are defying the world and going ahead with Nuclear development.
2) Are training and funding terrorism
3) Have a total nut job for a political leader
4) Are Muslim (should have been number 1.)
5) The whole world is against them
6) Hang people that don't live up to their religious standards (especially Gays)
