i used mouth wash with water with it to clean my piercing and it hurted till i stop and my lip is still swelling near the ring and red and it has thick skin and i stopped the mouthwash thing and used perxiod with half water and it not hurting and it still have thick skin and red what should i do

Don't wast time on home remedy's, got see a doctor right away. Any cut in the area of the mouth is subject to germs and infection. The only thing that is going to help is the proper medication.

Would be best advised to get a doctors opinion. If there is an infection you would want to get it taken care of before it gets in your blood and you become very ill.

I would go and see my doc if i were you. he might be able to shed of light of why it is still red and puffy around your piercing. i may not have a lip piercing but i do know what can happen if you don't go and seek medical help.

you shouldn't have gotten it pierced in the first place. Take it out and don't put it back in.
