In my neibough hood their are loads of diffrent coloured hair's and a guy down my road always says" blonds are dumb and burnetts are boring" i don't get? where did people get that idea!....

It's a stereotype... you know, just like african men are supposed to be hung like horses and african women are supposed to have the best looking butts....
It's just come to be after a period of time that brunettes have come to be known as boring and blondes as dumb. I think the blonde thing came about when blondes were thought to be the most beautiful of all women. Remember that in teh old days, good women and beautiful ones were expected to let the men do the thinking. Intellectual women were considered taboo. So the women men hang around with had to act dumb and they tended to be the beautiful blondes. Over the years as times changed and people began to forget this root problem, they just referred to blondes as dumb. It's horrible for stereotypes like this to exist but i guess there's no way to get rid of them.

ok.. if it truly is so why would those with different colour hair pick to dye there hair blonde .. so would that no longer cause them to dumber ? As there doing something that would want to provide the idea there are blonde and dumb... i do not see how hair colour element to how smart someone is . the guy that judges off of hair colour purely might want to correctly be the dumb ones . smart human beings does no longer choose they might purely enable human beings be . each and every person is distinct in distinct techniques . hair is purely one element , perfect, weight, what they have discovered in life, there beliefs, and there personal minds are the keys to who each and every and ever ones are.. if a blonde human being shaved there heads or dyed there hair and no none knew there authentic hair colour would that cause them to any smarter? blonde hair colour and connection to being dumb are purely hollywood fantasy...as in first spoken to Marylin Monroe contained in the films over 40 years age.

Who knows who started with blonde jokes. I think that is where that comes from. I am a brunette and my husband doesn't think I am boring.
