All who are born must die that is the Law. Unfortunately the ones that are needed the most in the world go early because they are good and they therefore fulfill the Lords wishes and depart early. We need to feel good that you had a granpa that was good. Cheer up!!

Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
whatever we were to each other
that we still are
call me by my old familiar name
speak to me in the easy way
which you always used
put no difference in your tone
wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together
pray smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
without the trace of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
it is the same as it ever was
there is unbroken continuity
why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you
somewhere very near
just around the corner
All is well

I will not trivialize your loss by pretending to find words that might sooth your soul. There are no words that will make the pain go away. That's what grief is.

My grandpa also died, two weeks ago. I am also very sad. You are not alone in your grief, but you will find ways to get through it and remember how much his life meant to your own. That is the gift he has left for you.

Not alot i can say will make you better. Why not do things for him, do the things and see the places that you think he may have liked. Remember him. He will still be with you. Watching over you. If you believe, then he will have gone to life a better life elsewhere "up there". Not forcing religion on anybody. Just pointing it out.

I just lost my dad few month ago. The best thing is let it out your mourn. Crying...crying...crying is the best way. Once you pass this stage you soon realize that you've got stand up, continue your live. Remember all the good things about your grandpa without feeling sad anymore. He must be happy to see you can cope with this bitterness.

I'm sorry for the way your feeling right now but think of this,

You’re Only A Whisper Away

Whisper in my ear beloved
Whisper in my ear
Although I cannot see you
I know that you are near.

Memories around me
The laughter and the tears
Whisper that you love me
And gone will be my fears.

Whisper in my ear beloved
Whisper in my ear
Although I cannot hear you
In my dreams your voice is
Clear.

Love will always bind us
In my heart I hold you dear
Until we meet again beloved
Whisper in my ear.

i know hun i lost my grandpa 4 years ago and you still feel the void but mine was in a lot of pain and although he wasn't very old there was nothing anyone could do. just be there for your family and make sure you talk to them if you feel down as things like this should never be bottled up. think of him in a place of peace and tranquility and i think you'll find that he hasn't left you so don't feel alone.x

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing my grandmom was very upsetting for me too.

ALthough we are strangers, I would like to suggest something to you that might make you feel better. Put your sadness to action. Try to think of something your grandfather loved very much. A cause he believed in or a hobby he had. And then put a little bit of yourself into that hobby or cause. It might be to donate money or time. So that grandpa can live on through your actions.

I know this is a hard and very sad time and i am so very sorry for your loss.
You need to take time to get your head around this and to grieve. I lost one of my friends very very suddenly two months ago, so i kinda understand how you feel.

Don't sit on your own - go and be with your family or your friends.

Take care of yourself - God bless. XXX.
