I use a CHI to straighten but before I do that I use Biosilk Silk Therapy. I have flyaway hair and it seems to help alot.

You mean like little flyaways or like you have chunks of hair sticking straight out? LOL

For flyaways get a shine serum. After your hair is dry, right before you are completely done, you put some in your hand (my hair is all the way down to my jean line, so, I have to put in a dime size for the top of my hair, then I do it again for the hair from like my bra-line down.

Then you just smooth it on. It tames it down. I have baby fine hair, and flyaways are a pain in the you know what, and I think they make my hair look messy, when I'm going for a finished look.

Theres a technique called Japanese straightening which is kind of like a reverse perm. I've never received one, but one of my co-workers did it and she said her hair would stay straight. Even after a shower, no blowdrying necessary. Touch ups are needed every 6 months, just like a perm. The process can be expensive, but if it's something you want to do, go for it! Try to look for a beauty college or something, the cost will more than likely be reduced. Just make sure to get a senior student.

Ya, I don't think its Possible because if you watch soaps. They're hair is all straightened and pretty and then you see all these stray hairs sticking out at the sides or at the part on the top. LOL I notice it all the time.

I don't think there's a way to keep hair straight, if its originally curly, it will not go straight and stay like that. Same for straight hair, curling won't keep it curly forever.
