I live in Honduras and I have a couple of suggestions:
Hotel Plaza San Martin, located down town, nice hotel district and walking neighborhood, lots of restaurants.
Hotel Plaza Conquistador, right by Plaza San Martin but cheaper.
Hotel Alameda, not a walking neighborhood but decent prices and rooms.
You can also look up at Bed and Breakfast in any Honduran tourist web page, they might be a little cheaper but not as comfortable as a Hotel

get you a good travel book will recommend where to stay and give aprox. price
