Wow! The same thing happened to me. I was, but am no longer (no matter what they say, I was delivered and healed and am no longer these types of a person) a alchoholic, drug user, into porn, a 2 pack a day cigarette smoker for 18 years, and other destructive patterns of lifestyle. I prayed and asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and He did so,right then too and He also filled me with His Holy Spirit! I was on my way to the pentitentiary for DWI's and He got that resolved as well. I had been through drug and alchohol rehabs several times and worked the 12-step programs with no success. Instead of deliverance from these things I grew even angrier. Jesus Christ delivered me of everyone of these behaviors on the same day He came into my life. I have not had a drag of any cigarette, a sip or taste of any alchohol, any drug whatsoever, and all the old things in my life passed away on that same day. What man tried to do in cleaning up my life which never worked, Jesus was well-abled to do in a split second. The difference being that we only know how to clean up on the outside but He knows how to and is able to clean us up on the inside. He came into my life on April 10, 1996 and life really does get sweeter every day with Him. I hope this helps someone. If so, I welcome any emails to wdhathcock@hotmail.com! He really is one for second chances and last chances as well. PEACE!!!!

I do believe that you have exchanged one addiction for another-your new found religion.
I have never -ever!- heard a Jew use the name of Jesus as a curse word. They have respect for him-tho, they believe he was only a man-a teacher. I have heard many Christians use it, tho, many ,many times.
I was a Christan----------------I am much happier and content with G-d and myself-as a Jew.

Well ben, I appreciate your witness and thankful attitude in witness here in spite of all the hatemongers which you keep right on going, praise God! I won't name all the things I was delivered from but I will say God changed my mind so I could think right, changed my mouth so I could talk right, changed my heart so I could worship right, changed my feet so I could walk right and I forgave my husband of 10 years for committing infidelity with a certain sinful addiction (one of above) and pray for his salvation. He claims Christianity but there's no change. It destroyed our marriage just like the devil wanted but the story isn't finished yet! To all the whoremongers and hatemongering sinners here: SIN DOESN'T PAY EXCEPT WITH DEATH AND DESTRUCTION AND SORROW! GOD PAYS HIS SERVANTS WITH PEACE, JOY, LOVE, FORGIVENESS, COMFORT, AND LIFE ETERNAL! Choose LIFE!~

You have issues.
I know for a fact that modern day Jews don't go around calling Jesus a liar and a deceiver.
So why don't you quit spreading hate and get some psychiatric help.

you will not ought to hassle approximately those issues in case you stopped believing in them. this is equivalent to me fearing i might get coal for Christmas whilst i assumed in Santa Claus. different than that became no longer just about as risky as ideals like this. If there's a god, no guy is familiar with what he needs. The Bible became a regulation-e book written via guy and should no longer be conscious to popular society in any respect. back then, there have been no longer affective contraceptives and marriage became a inexpensive patriarchal element. better halves have been assets. Marriage ability something thoroughly diverse now. The Bible is beside the point. Or a minimum of, it is going to likely be.

Jesus provides the Ted Haggard's of the world with enough money to buy all the sins their hypocrite hearts desire.

Interesting that when you needed to find strength to quit drinking and jerking it, you found it in another man......
I myself found stregth inside of ME when I needed to stop drinking. I did it for my own health and for the betterment of those around me. Not for some dead dude.
