To me, its the outfit that shows how punky you are, not really the hair. Just don't do anything too girly or something.

Here are some ideas;
Dye it all black and then dye your side bangs blonde.
Dye one layer black then the rest of the top layer blonde.
Cut the back so its spikey and leave the rest long in the front. Put in a bunch of highlights and random colors.
