No specific stripe stands for any specific colony. However, the original 13 colonies were (in the order they were founded): Virginia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Georgia
Note that a previous answer does not include New Jersey (which was one of the original colonies) and includes Vermont (which wasn't).

That sure would solve all of the problems we have here in America, wouldn't it? Why don't you actually try to do something helpful to the country and look at more important issues than what people wear or don't wear. Edit: So continue to ask VALID questions and provide insight on how you believe the country should be changed for the better. That's wonderful, if you make valid points, I'm happy that you are educated enough to do so about certain things (you certainly are not on the right track with attacking what you believe my parenting skills are.) But, please drop this whole badge wearing crap. I'm surprised that you would not be a person who yells at your kids for thinking and using their brains when you won't let go of someone knowing that he doesn't have to wear something in order to show that he DOES support America.

Not that this matters anymore since people have already answered and done your homework for you...but atleast it's a tip for the future:
Look it up, that's what your history book is for.
