As there are only about 319 Million cubic miles of water in all the oceans today, that is a ridiculous statement, as water has been added not taken away over time.
4.4 Billion m³ = 1,056,293,346 miles³

The earth didn't have the high mountain ranges we have today. The water for the flood came from the water canopy surrounding the earth prior to the flood. The tropical conditions this would create explains how we can find vegetation in the frozen animals in the north pole (wolly mammoths, etc). It is also though by some that some of the water came from underground springs, possibly the Marianas Trench. The incredible pressure created by this large amount of water being put on the earths crust caused great earthquakes and as a result, many of the huge mountain ranges we have today were formed.

i don't be attentive to the place or how that plenty water the God Yahweh utilized in Noah's flood have been given right here. What i be attentive to is that simply by fact the sea point rose international it could have pushed the ambience up with it preserving the oxygen point and air temperature simply by fact a similar earlier the flood. this could have made it conceivable for Noah, his family members and the prominent species of animals in the ark to stay on the couple of minutes they spent in the ark. while the sea point began to bypass backpedal Noah and his family members and the animals could have had to desert the ark on the ideal of the mountain that it landed on and persist with the sea point backpedal the mountain, that could basically have been under ten years. The plant life could have regrown on the uncovered land above sea point for this reason resupplying oxygen international. there is plenty greater i will write in this concern to help what i'm asserting yet have not got the time to desirable now.

The flood in Noah's day may not have flooded the entire earth to the top of Mt. Everest, as long as it started the slate clean in regards to humanity (which may have been fairly localized at the time). It's to be read in context of what the author understood at the time.

bigwhitebarry,
Are you assuming that the Oceans of the world were ALWAYS at the level that they are now at? I get that a lot from the same people that think they know something about evolution. They note that the world has changed, especially at sea level, and yet act like the Earth can only change for the worse, because of pollution.
Extremely silly notions.

In the creationist model the earth as we know it today was not the same in Noah's time. The flood was a catastrophic event that reshaped the globe.

I don't know I wasn't there but if it was an important fact it would have been put in the Bible. A scripture says 'if all were written down in this book it would be too large'.

If the earth gushed the water out as the Bible says, then it could have gone back to where it was.
