Well at this time of year, your distributors run only special adds at high volume retail outlets. It depends where you are, the expected sales etc. etc. for example currently pepsi and dr. pepper are running for 1.77 a 12 pack or 1 dollar a 2 liter ....after the holiday coca cola will probably run a great deal as well...up until christmas....................so there are deals out there .....just gotta find them.

In Canada I seen coke at $1.19 per 16oz bottle
and $1.69 per 2 liter bottle. Never seen the
20 oz bottles. Someone once told me that Coke is 42% Canadian owned! I don't know if it's true! I thought Coke was totally Canadian..
guess I was probably wrong. Really don't know! I prefer Pepsi even though it costs a little more than Coke! Pepsi is $1.39 per 16oz bottle and 2 liter is $1.77 per bottle! Oh Dr. Pepper seems to have the same pricing structure as Pepsi.. just maybe Pepsi owns them! Who owns Pepsi? Canada or the USA?
There's a rumour that 7-up bought out RC Cola
that might be true cause haven't seethe UnCola ads lately! RC Cola is just 99cents for a 16oz bottle. They do have 20oz bottles $1.19 and
$1.59- $1.69 for 2 liters! Tastes good going down but the aftertaste isn't good! Maybe 7-up will fix that problem if the rumour be true! I doubt it of course!

Because it's getting closer and closer to the holidays and everyone has parties. And when you are at a party what's one thing you always see? Coke! It's the same reason gas is going back up, just because everyone will be traveling this time of year. : )

It depends when and where you buy it. I can get a 20 oz. Coke for .75 and a liter for about $1.20.

If they purchased all people on the earth a Coke, i'd worship their asses perpetually. However i am certain there's one of the vital world that wouldn't want it, or are not able to have it, so it chalks down a little less than that.

Blame some of the rise on Protectionist Policies in the U.S.

To protect U.S. sugar manufacturers, heavy tariffs are placed on sugar that other countries want to sell here. This is the reason that LifeSavers shut down in this country and went to Canada. It is also the reason that soft drink manufacturers switched from sugar to corn syrup in their drinks.

Now, the demand for corn syrup is higher, and moreso around the holidays. Watch for spikes in price and shop sales, and "come-ons" as retailers try to use your sweet tooth to get you into their stores.

Oh! And if you're politically-minded, ask your reps why we're screwing ourselves in order to maintain the profits of a noncompetitive sugar industry! Tell them to knock off the tariffs and watch the price of everything from snack foods to ketchup go down!

Best wishes!

At my work we sell it for $1.54 for 20oz. Forget $2.29 for 2liter. Coke told us the prices increases was because of the increase in gas prices over the summer months.

in the event that they bought every person in the international a Coke, i could worship their asses continuously. yet i'm specific there is the diverse international that doesn't elect it, or won't be in a position to have it, so it chalks down quite under that.

economy..
every year everything goes up n price..the older we get, the more expensive it is..

I remember buying a can for 35 cents and a 6 pack of bottles for 2.25 with the deposit.. ( the 1980s)

They will screw you when you buy the smaller, more convenient bottles. It's nothing new, they've always done this.
