Reinforced, thank you

I think I had the best year in Catholic school then in any public school ever.

I was transfered to my local catholic school after an abusive year at school (my teacher was verbally abusive to me to the point where I got physically ill at the thought of going in to class). Catholic school helped me and provided a safe environment for me. If I had to attend my old school after that teacher, I would have probably killed myself. Thank God for Catholic school!

I grew up in Catholic Boy's school. It had it's benifits, I believe I got a better education than I would have at the public schools in my district (public schools elsewhere may be better, but not in the city I grew up in) I wasn't "abused by preists" as most always assume but I did end up leaving Catholicism anyway. I didn't leave God, just that religion.

I did not go to public School, but became Catholic later in life.

From what I see in our Town, Catholic school is a good alternative from our overly politicized governmental School system.

Peace!

I know a bunch of people what went to Catholic school! like at least 15. Let me tell you, a least 12 of the 15 are the most wild people I ever met!!!! It did something to those girls, scary thought. I'm a parent myself and I thought about putting my child in a Catholic school but then I think about those wild girls. Now a scary thought

yes. it was a very humbling experience. catholic school education provides discipline, which is sadly lacking in most public schools (schools of satan and other non-catholics). i was able to learn the catholic faith well enough to question it. and i've concluded, catholicism is the best form of christianity, so catholic i remain. hehehe...

I went to Catholic school through 6th grade. I got a way better education there than in public school. I pretty much slept through 7th grade, because I'd learned everything the year before.

Absolutely. My Catholic grammar school and high school background has given me an advantage in life, both spiritually and academically. Which is why many parents who are not Catholic are placing their children in Catholic schools.

It benefits many, in the sense that it shows the total hypocrisy of the Catholic church. Unfortunately, they then turn away from God altogether, not realizing that God's true followers are not hypocritical child molesters.
