Try Osteria delle Belle Donne in Via delle Belle Donne.

the food there is real good, its the only place were you can enjoy and not worry about overly expensive food in a real cute and nice restaurant. its not that cheap but now, at this time of the year, it shouldnt be that much.

I enjoy eating at Trattoria Za Za. It has an outdoor seating area in the Piazza del Mercato Centrale. The food is good and not too expensive. Also, it has an upbeat, fun atmosphere. I usually end up eating there many times during my trips to Florence.

we enjoyed eating at the caffe duomo, it sits right behind the duomo. the food was very good, quick service, the atmosphere was laid back, and it was easy to find. and it seems like they would be open on a tuesday being so close to a tourist site.
