Since God and prayer have been taken out of schools our world has really begun a downward spin. Just how many are brave enough to fight the good fight of faith?

I do believe the world would be a much happier place. Your right about the Bible being taken out of the school. They allow all the filth in there why not something good!!

The world has been on a downward spin since its inception. This is a fallen world that will not last. Taking prayer out of schools has not caused the downward spin. The downward motion was already in place. Removing prayer from schools is a symptom of the fallen nature of the world. But there's really no airtight connection. I mean, if the world wasn't already falling, then why would anyone think to remove prayer from schools in the first place?

As for fighting the good fight of faith, you'll have to define your terms. The way I understand it, God is fighting the great supernatural war and will succeed whether I'm with him or not. Because I happen to be with him, I seek his will and do what he would have me do. Yet I in no way believe that my contribution is going to tip the scales and make the ultimate difference. God is perfectly capable to defeat evil. He is the only one capable of it, as a matter of fact.

So, again, do tell what you mean by "the good fight."

I can imagine it because the world has already been through it. Or at least, believers have tried to force it upon everyone. It was called the Dark Ages, and was a time of fear for those who didn't conform to Christian standards.

Why exactly do you contribute the removal of mandatory prayer from school to the downward spiral of the world? How exactly does praying suddently make things right with the world? This sort of wishfull thinking is exactly how people in the Dark Ages though - "Don't upset God or we'll all burn in Hell! :("

Pray was never taken out of schools. Jehovah's Witnesses pray in school, they just don't make a big show of it. Prayer was only added to school as a response to communist fears 50 years ago. The same they added under God to the Pledge.

Even if the world came under one God, things would not change, as they refuse to acknowledge that they cannot rule themselves. When they are willing to separate themselves from the world and acknowledge that only God and Christ can lead men, will you see change.

We know that it is the will of God that none should perish. God is still working on people, and using the true believers to spread His love. God is love. When we love without conditions, we know it is God living in us. So now, we fight the good fight, with the whole armour of God, and one day, we will be rewarded. Everything that is happening has been predicted. And it will get even harder, but God is with us.

We'd still be fighting, with one group of Religion X zealots fighting other groups of Religion X zealots.

Sunnis fight Shiites.
Catholics fought Protestants and the Orhodox.
Sometimes they fight each other, internally within the same branches.
With "competition" out of the way, the in-fighting would get even more bitter.

Even Ghandi said that if everyone lived by the teachings of Jesus as given in the Sermon on the Mount, the world would be a much better place. But the majority of those claiming to be Christian have never even read it.

As much as I would like for everyone to believe in the One True God, I know that man would still twist His words and cause trouble as they have always done. What difference does it make to have evil people that believe in God or evil people that dont?

If everyone truely lived and believed the same thing, and emulated the way Jesus walked then it would be just like Eden.

I will fight the good fight of faith ! I will tell as many as I can that God Loves them, He Really Does ! And that He wants them to experience Jesus Christ.

I have imagined your world and found it devoid of color. Everything is either black or white. There isn't a significant or meaningful place set at the table for women. It is highly judgmental and lacks basic compassion and understanding of the "other."

I'd rather not, if you don't mind.

I would prefer fighting the good fight of compassion and understanding as "faith" is too easily distorted, misrepresented and misunderstood.
