I think this is not ok. And i think you musn't do it, even if you have a close relation with him. Trust me, your bf will be jelous even if he wouldn't tell you. But what about your bf is the best age, because boys are with 2years ago in what concern the development. I think you shouldn't pay atention at age, if exist a true love and understanding...is tyhe best which exist!!!

Your b/f is not too old. The older you get the less age matters anyway. And yes, it would be wrong to take your ex. I know prom is a HUGE deal and you want a date. But taking your ex is just asking for trouble with your new beau. You should start looking around for other people. Ask your boyfriend who he would like for you to go with, since he can't go. And although it sounds lame, you may want to try to go with some girlfriends if you have any that won't have a date. Also, how will your school know that your b/f is too old? Are they going to be checkin ID's at the door?

I wouldn't ask the old boyfriend, that's for sure. Talk to your current boyfriend first. Would he mind if you went with a casual guy friend- maybe someone you've known since grade school- but never dated? He'd be more of a escort to the dance, not a "date". Or how about going with a group of girls- make it a girls nite out sort of thing? Depends on how serious you are with this new guy.

It's no problem that your boyfriend is 22. That is not that big of a difference really. But don't take your ex to prom. That is asking for trouble. Take another girl, or someone who is gay.

In my opinion it would be wrong to go to your prom with your ex if your current boyfriend isn't allowed to go. As far as the age difference it really isn't that great and besides guys mature later than females.

If you can't take your boyfriend to the prom with you, then I think you should go alone with your girlfriends. If your determined to go with another boy, then sit down and ask your boyfriend what he thinks about that.
