Will this be a problem that my ID has my middle name only as an initial (IE, Lastname, Firstname, MiddleName1, MiddleInitial) With that initial being what my ticket was registered under?

The name on the ticket is my middle and last name, whereas on my ID it is my full name, but that middle name is only an initial (I have two.)

You will have no problem with your ticket. Since your ID has the abbreviated initial of your middle name, that is acceptible.

If your reservation was made with only your middle name, that is as Robert Jones, when your full name is John Robert Jones and your ID says John R. Jones, you may have a problem. I would suggest you contact the airline you are flying with. They will probably be able to revalidate your ticket with the correct name. If you have any other identification that does say John Robert Jones, that will help.

airlines can sometimes be funny, ring them up before you travel and tell them the situation, ask them to make a note on your booking file and then ask for a reference code for the call you are making
