Funny you should mention this, as I was just reading about it.
Yes, water is blue. You don't see it in small amounts, though, only in, for example, lakes.
If you took 10 gallons of water, and put dye in it until you could just barely see the color, then looked at a cup of the water, it would look clear, because the color is too faint.
(I just happened to be trolling on some "Bad Science" sites the other day.)

I would say no, if you take a clear glass of water you can see what is on the other side of it. This means the light travels through the water to your eyes and does not reflect any particular color of light.

Nothing has a color per se. Objects, including water, absorb, refract or reflect certain wave lengths we call colors. Depend of the % of absorption, refraction, or reflection then we say it has this or that color.

water has no colour. It is colourless. But when we colour we colour it blue.if we go near a sea and find the colour of the water green. This is because of the reflection which the water gets maybe from the greenery available there.

The water in my toilet does, often times being a pale yellow or a murky brown. I haven't the foggiest idea as to why, though.

If your water has color, don't drink it. Pure water is clear.
