how to over-come it, if its just a thing of the moment???

either have sex with him, or masterbate...that should take care of it.

Unless you have to see him quite often. Then, your best bet is to get ****** by him really really hard (what I did with a women I lusted for). If you cannot, or there are other factors, avoid being in contact with him...or everytime you are in contact...just have a handy dandy timely masterbation..

This should make you needless in the long run, and your great urge and "lust" will subside....and focus on the things that are not controlled by invariable and fleeting impulses...but rather more rational things with controlled releases of such impulses..

Things of the moment...do not do good to yield or hold inside---for they often lead to frustration and impatience...

so I would suggest--if its "of the moment" as you say---just masterbate...to get the impulse out of your system---then, just do as you do in your life. And control and manipulate accordingly to get your goals (this includes more than just lust). This is what you should do.

However, with time...you will become lustless---and only encounter the emotion other those you lust...which can be solved through timely releases...and you shall be at calm from then on.

Wikipedia says that lust is usually used in reference to a strong sexual desire or attraction but can be used in other ways. Such as 'Lust for life'.

So, if you are speaking of a sexual lust you need to decide whether it is a lust for your mate or for someone else.

Lust for your mate doesn't need to be dealt with but perhaps controlled. It probably would not be a good idea to exercise your lust in the supermarket.

If it is for someone else then it needs to be dealt with. For me the best way is to divert my attention to something else. That is not always easy, because it has to be something that would really use what few brain cells that I have left. Focusing on a problem, concentrating on a project or some such helps me.

You may have to find your own way, if you haven't already.

Lust is at it's most powerful when you're entering puberty and those hormones start kicking into gear....and it can be a very confusing emotion, frequently getting mixed-up as "true love". The first experiences with it can be downright intoxicating.
To yeild or overcome it requires putting your HEAD before your HORMONES.

Lust is one part of love that we enjoy. So let it be....
It doesn't last forever in that intensity so don't waist you time overcoming it. It will overcome by default. Not completly but it wont have the same intensity.

Depending on the situation it can be a lot of fun to give into lust.

Just be careful, and always protect yourself.

I struggle with it, and try to think hot women as non-sexual objects. It`s sometimes hard ;(
