According to Islam all good people deserves heaven. Religion does not matter. What is the Christian belief on that matter?

Since Islam rejects the concept of original sin, Muslims believe that all human beings are born pure and will naturally turn to God, but it is their environment which influences them to choose ungodly ways of life. In Islam, therefore, a child who dies automatically goes to heaven, regardless of the religion of his or her parents. The highest level of heaven is Firdaws which is where the prophets, the martyrs and the most truthful and pious people will dwell.

That is one of the funniest questions I have read today....lol

What is GOOD? Isn't that morality?
Isn't morality mainly passed on by the community, which if it is highly Islamic, then you have to be good Muslim to get to heaven.

I'm not Christian, and I'm not Muslim, but you have to realize that no matter what the Bible say or the Koran, it will be people who "implement" religion, and they implement it imperfectly because they are human. And if people in a community believe "good" is stoning someone, and if you don't participate you are "bad" then you'll get the community's punishment.

My main point is this: Religions, and the way they are implemented, has not much to do with the book on which the religion is based upon. People make religion what religion is. A book can gather dust in a cave, and it will have no effect until someone reads it and interprets it.

Christians believe that there are no good people, since we have all offended God by our sin. Christians believe that no matter how much people want to be good, the fact is that we are not good 100% of the time.

Christians believe that God sent us the gift of mercy through his Son, who is the only One who lived in the flesh and did not sin. What we need to do is accept the gift of salvation--acknowledging that we cannot save ourselves from sin, and that Jesus can--and we will be united with God. Christians have accepted the gift.

If everyone is born pure, then where, praytell, did impurity come from? The environment, you say? You mean, like, trees have the ability to turn the pure into the impure? Or are you talking about other people? If so, how did the first person become impure, if he or she was pure?

I'm sorry but Muslims do not believe that. I don't know where you are getting your facts from. Whoever gets in to heaven is for God to decide and no Muslim would state who gets in or not. Firstly to be a good person is not enough to get into heaven. You have to worship God they way he wants to be worshiped. You have to follow Gods Laws the way he wants them to be followed. What anyone deserves God or bad is not for anyone to judge but God.

You never said anything about children in your original question. Of course we believe all children are born Muslim and are so until puberty. But as an adult you still are free to make any choice and follow any religion you choose. Stating but i was raised that way is not a good enough excuse. I was not raised Muslim, i reverted 2 years ago. It is every adults responsibility to seek truth. If you cant be bothered to seek that truth you only have yourself to blame.

Alp,
A Christian will tell you that there are none good but God. A Christian will tell you that what Jesus said is true, and every man lies. The truth is with God, Jesus, the Father, and His Spirit.

If you believe in the Torah, then you have to perform that all your life, flawlessly. If you read a little bit, you will find many things in there that you haven't done. So you are a sinner, and need God's grace for salvation.

Blessed are they that believe.

Jesus was not just a prophet. He was the Messiah. The Messiah was necessary to provide salvation to the world. Without Him, you are not one of God's children.

You must have Jesus as your Lord, or you will perish.

So it's Not about being 'good.' It's about trusting God through Jesus Christ.

Christians believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth , and the Life, and that nobody gets to the Father, except thru Him (Jesus). See John 3:16, which says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".

They do?!?!?
I thought Muslim say you have to convert to Islam to be able to enter Heaven! You have to believe in Allah and his prophet Muhammad, or you will not enter paradise!
If that is true! then, why convert to Islam! there is no need to do that then!

You learn something new everyday!!!!!
