I dont understand why a boyfriend would look at a heart pendant and think, hey, that looks like a great present... I will get it for my girlfriend. I can understand if your girlfriend is like 14, but i am sorry, once you leave the teen years, are there honestly any women out there that want one? why do jewelers throw these nasty heart pendants in the faces of unsuspecting boyfriends, brainwashing them to think that women like them? It is a terrible ploy. Hearts are cute when they are made out of paper, or some other not permenant composition. Thats all. Advice for any males out there listening, women hate them, and will only use them to fill their jewelery box full of jewelery they'll never dare put on.

I think they suck to, there for stupid guys to buy because the jewerly store said there nice, if you really love your woman you will know what she likes,

Okay, there is some fear of commitment. But I have found it to be intimidating to try and find that 'perfect' pendant. And then you start worrying about what she'll think. Will it fit? Will she like the color? The only thing I can say is try to make the guy as comfortable as possible.

I don't think all women hate them. Heart pendants signify that the girl has got the guys heart i guess. I respect you for your opinion but I do not think that ALL women hate it.

well im lucky then as ive never bought a heart pendant for any lady ---- a bracelet with her name engraved (and mine underneath touching her)

Its a sweet present. If my husband bought me one, I'de save it forever, with a pic. in it. BUT I wouldn't be wearing it. Its more like a keepsake, you'll have forever. It is kinda outdated.
