I am no great cook myself, but don't choose anything you have to eat with your hands or thats greasy.

Fancy cheese on toast ! It's really simple and gorgeous and it's not too heavy so ye won't feel bloated?

Buy some Mozzerella cheese in the supermarket. You know the squidgy one in the pouch? not the dry one.

Get two slices of white bread.
Cut the crusts off.
Slice up the cheese and place in the middle of one slice.
Place other one on top and pinch edges all the way around.
Then dip it in egg then flour and fry on the pan until it turns golden brown on each side.
Serve hot with some lettuce or a simple salad.

It's delecious and some red wine would go really nice.
It's really easy to do and only takes a few minutes

Try fixing bake ziti with garlic bread..

Take the ziti (or any noodles) and boil them until they are done..add a pinch of salt while boiling..

When noodles are ready, drain and rinse with cold water...

Next the meat sauce...get a 1lb of meat..I perfer turkey..put them in a frying pan...add onions, greenpeppers, salt, pepper, garlic and Italian Seasoning ..make sure that this is all done and cooked..

Next get a pan for the oven..put enough noodles at the bottom of the pan..add Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and provlonecheese..and sauce..and then add ricotta cheese..keep doing this as layers..

when done, put it in the oven for about 1 hour..

Buy some texas toast from the frozen food section..put those in the oven for 10 mins..

And buy a bottle of red wine..

there are you go..a nice meal..

i addded a recipe from a website..

You can buy those frozen pasta dinner that come in bags at any food store. those you just cook in a non stick sauce pan for about 15 to 20 minutes. you can also heat up frozen garlic bread and make a salad, they also come in bags ready to serve(you can find them in your vegetable section) serve with some dressing(Italian is good) and there you go. you've got a tasty and easy meal. he will never know!!

good luck!!!

spaghetti is always a winner.

Make sure you test your meal in advance, so you know how long it takes to cook, prepare, and what you need.

bad food won't kill a releationship, but if you stress yourself out it will. In case things don't go well have the number ready for the local pizza place.

why not find a good caterer and order it in --- it saves time --- effort and you can concentrate on him OR get him to come early and cook with you --- now that could be very good
