It is perfectly safe and there are no rules. Although there is a concern that long term use of tanning beds may lead to skin cancers the data on this is somewhat limited. Nearly all of what we know about tanning is from excessive exposure to sun light. The luminescence of tanning beds is not as harmful. I had a tanning bed at home for years and I miss it. Enjoy.

My sister use to manage a tanning salon. She told me the best way to get a tan is go for a short time the first day. Let your body get use to it the next day then go for a little longer the day after. So every other day is the best way to get a good tan without burning yourself.

They say tanning isn't safe to begin with, but the tanning salon I go to, you have to wait 24 hours before you can tan again.

It might depend on your state, but I don't think that's a rule. A lot of salons have their own rules - I think most common the rule is that you can't go twice in one day.

Try not to go 2 days in a row. Your skin needs a break and you don't want to burn.
